I got to sit with the hugely inspiring Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund, Dr.Natalia Kanem in the Shelbourne Hotel in April and talk about our partnership and the issues around gender equality and maternal health.
Below is a pic of Dr.Natalia Kanem looking AMAZING, wearing one of her NATALIEBCOLEMAN silk printed scarves, which is one of our designs created in partnership with the UNFPA. Also photographed with Siddharth Chatterjee from the Kenyan United Nations discussing the upcoming Nairobi Summit in November. This printed silk scarf is inspired by an archival illustraion and redrawn to subvert the negative imagery of the 'horned uterus,' the 'hysterical womb' into a unified shape, into a call to arms for women. And lastly a pic pf Dr. Natalia who has been wearing her SISTERS top all over the Women Deliver event in Vancouver which is such an incredible honour.
